Gallery section updated, Holiday, Citylife, Woodcuts, etc...
I finally was able to add links to Holiday, Citylife, and Woodcuts to the website. I've chosen only select paintings that have been sold over the last few years due to over-all appeal.
Currently working on a few projects, one is a collection of Holiday Witches ( wacky, wild, and fun ), another is of general Halloween type paintings. Once I get these released I will offer them in greeting cards and prints, the same price as a regular greeting card but direct from the artist, signed by the artist.
Canvas paintings are now listed on ebay at a great price, it's time for me to sell them out and transition over to more Deep Cradled Gessobords which I actually prefer painting on, they are much more secure than canvas and handle fine details including other techniques I enjoy using. Best thing is they look just like canvas hanging on the wall. All my cradled Gessobord paintings are 1.75" deep, ready to hang. ( Gessobord is the same as hardboard, with many added gesso coats and supports on the edges). Will still be using canvas for much larger paintings.
I will only be selling on ebay for another month with CBjork Canvas, so now is your time to snap up great offers on auctions and bin listings. I can't say I won't be on ebay in the future, but for sure it will be much less, and or only giclee prints.

A difficult economy creates an exciting time for exciting new changes!
Sometimes we just need a little kick in the butt to reach the next level of experiences in life, now is no different, be it a kick, a push, a pull, or a flight, anytime is a great time for change. To me, there's nothing more inspiring than change, that's why I constantly puch and pull, try new things and experience all I can in life, and through my art.
A new website is being created for my more illustrative art, including a whole new series of Halloween 2009 now in production. More than that, I'm tapping back into my roots to pull out some of the most expressive art you can imagine, from the most beautiful to the most extreme. Stay tuned for one of the largest CBjork transformations in 7 + years. ( of course it's also a building process, construction has begun, the grand opening has not yet been established ). Materials will also be changing / evolving a bit, still acrylic, wall hung art, sculpture, hardboard, woodcut, etc...
Bjorkartstudio.com original paintings will be rising in price as there will be less of them released on a regular basis, but each one will be spectacular beautiful Landscape, Cityscape, or Nature Still Life. Many paintings will be archived, however select ones will be available for fine art Giclee while supplies last. ( CBjork Giclee's are as close to the original painting you can get, each one enhanced by the artist ).
Website updates to be completed, hundreds of more paintings will be uploaded including the rare woodcuts of 2003-2005.
EBAY - Ebay has suffered some heavy blows in the last year, due to their own changes, fee raises, disappearing auctions, and many artists have left, the mainstream middle class shopper has also moved on to different venues, the economy has only added to the effects of ebay's great downfall 2009, where artists like myself would "sell out". To me art is about inspiration rather than money so I've been ok with offering super deals, however as the sole source of my income, the future will be different. I don't plan on sticking around with Ebay as there are so many other avenues of promotion, both on and offline.
I've opened up 1 new store through Vendio, ( you can get there by clicking the SHOP tab on my site ). This will be the main spot for sales of new Releases and Giclees, but also check out Boundlessgallery.com for occasional special releases, & Etsy for smaller more affordable items.
You are currently subscribed to the CBjork newsletter, however once the new site opens, you will need to subscribe to that one to gain info on that art. ( name is not released yet )
